HR and L&D Professional Qualifications
The role of the training professional in business is often overlooked for its contribution to organisational success. The aim of the CTP qualification is to give you the knowledge and skills needed by an effective trainer to add value to the organisation, with an awareness of the business context in which training operates.
The next open CTP programmes will begin in September 2010 in Derby and Nottingham. Delivered on a day-time modular basis by an experienced lecturing team, the programme covers four key areas of professional training:
- Training in Context
- Identifying and Prioritising Learning Needs
- Designing Training and Assessment
- Delivering and Evaluating Training
The CTP is for training administrators, officers and advisers, or people with some training responsibility as part of their role, who want to build and develop their career in training and development. It's also valuable for line managers, consultants and independent trainers who want to gain a recognised qualification. Whatever your background or experience, support will be provided through individual tutorial sessions to enable you to successfully complete the programme.

CHaRM Management Specialists Ltd is an approved centre to deliver the Certificate in Training Practice accredited by CIPD. The Chartered Institute of Personnel & Development offers a range of courses from foundation to Masters level for Personnel & Training Professionals. If you are interested in an in-house training programme please contact us.
The training team have experience of delivering the qualification to CIPD standards either at or above foundation level study. They understand the level of commitment and motivation required to achieve the professional standard in the training field.
